Basketball training

Structured athlete development from grassroots to elite competition, with professional coaching and modern facilities.

  • 400+ active athletes (52% girls)
  • Age‑specific training: U8 – U18
  • Strength & conditioning, performance psychology
  • Two new courts at Morris Isaacson High School
  • 20+ tournaments entered annually

SBA Uprising Tournament

Competing and hosting at the highest level.

  • June 16 Uprising Tournament: 24 teams, 2,500+ spectators
  • Broadcast on SuperSport Schools
  • SBA Girls Champions, Boys 2nd place (2025)
  • Tournament champions: AISJ, JBA Chairman’s Cup, RBS Kings Cup, etc.

Soup Kitchen

Community Nutrition Support

Fighting food insecurity while keeping athletes healthy.

  • SBA Community Soup Kitchen (launched Mandela Day 2025)
  • Serves 250+ people daily, 3 days/week (≈750 meals/week)
  • Supported by Jabulani Mall, NBA Cares, Pick n Pay, Steers
